Emphasizing the need for continuous professional development for teachers, Ms Shweta Talwar, the resource person for the workshop, said, “teachers have to continue to learn regardless of their age, experience and qualification. As change agents, it is important for them to upskill themselves constantly to be up to date with the changing trends of education. Professional development leads to teacher empowerment which in turn leads to student empowerment.”
