Will Fight for Injustice, corruption, poverty: Dr Nowhera Shaik ahead of Telangana polls
Dr Nowhera Shaik Vows to Combat Injustice, Corruption, and Poverty in Telangana
As the 2023 Telangana state legislative assembly election approaches on November 30, Dr. Nowhera Shaik, leading the All India Mahila Empowerment Party (MEP), gears up with a strong commitment to address long standing issues faced by the people.
Expressing optimism for victory, she critiques the previous government's failures in employment and rising prices, emphasising the need for increased reservation quotas and promising essential services.
Taking on Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Dr Shaik accuses him of divisive politics and neglecting public welfare. “Her party's manifesto avoids religious and political agendas, focusing on the betterment of Telangana. The emphasis lies on justice, addressing mismanagement, and providing free gas cylinders, education improvement, and enhanced employment schemes,” she said.
Accusing him of false promises to the Muslim community, she recalls past conflicts, including a false FIR in 2012, expressing confidence in winning the upcoming elections.
Shaikh extends a warm invitation to those interested in joining her party, emphasising trust and a dedication to prioritise public demands. Her focus on justice and humanity extends beyond Telangana, with plans to contest nationwide Lok Sabha elections.
Meanwhile, preparations for the Telangana election involve the Election Commission accepting the party's symbol “Diamond,” officially designated with the serial number 9. Shaikh envisions a significant transformation for Hyderabad, intending to turn it into Greater Hyderabad upon victory.
Critiquing the current government for inadequate infrastructure in numerous colonies, Shaikh pledges comprehensive development.
She targets superficial projects and emphasises the shift towards fundamental amenities, prioritising issues like drainage problems, garbage collection, and water supply.
Dr. Shaik extends her commitment to address grievances in education and healthcare, promising resolutions once in power.
The AIMP president emphasises the urgency of support for their vision, assuring that Hyderabad will undergo a transformation into a smart city.
Dr. Shaik criticises Owaisi's divisive politics and pledges to address issues facing Muslims if elected. Her vision encompasses free education, electricity, enhanced healthcare, and gas cylinders.
She urges residents to vote for her, promising dedicated service and justice, while emphasising the rejection of divisive politics.
She criticised the current government for failing to address the issues in Hyderabad and for making false claims about resolving people's problems, which are not reflected in reality. She also criticised the current state government for water scarcity, lack of funds, and job shortages.
“Our party stands with all people fighting for justice and their rights, regardless of their community,” she added.
“If our party comes into power, we will provide free LPG connections and free electricity to all households,” she announced and stressed the importance of significant healthcare reforms to enhance healthcare access for everyone.
“I am committed to helping the underprivileged and fighting for basic rights such as clean water, education, and healthcare for all. I am dedicated to ensuring these fundamental needs for each person,” she added. She further said that the party plans to create two lakh government jobs in the first year and provide Rs 5,000 per month to unemployed youth.
She also mentioned that her party is committed to fighting for the fundamental rights of the people in Hyderabad, focusing on their essential needs such as healthcare, education, safe drinking water, and affordable electricity. The party aims to empower women by involving them in entrepreneurship to ensure their independence and livelihood. Moreover, the concerns of the younger generation will be a priority and addressed accordingly.
“We recently visited various areas in Hyderabad and listened to the grievances of the residents. It's evident that the current government has done little to alleviate their concerns. People everywhere are expressing discontent about poverty, unemployment, the increasing prices of essentials, and they feel the government's claims are unsubstantiated,” she stated.
“It's crucial for the people of Hyderabad to elect a candidate who will truly work for their benefit and serve their needs, and that candidate is none other than our party. We urge the people of Hyderabad to cast their vote in the LS elections for a better and more promising Hyderabad,” she added.
